Re: Where to source out new ecu pins.
Well, some have been listed by myself and the post before yours B18c1turboedEK.
Everyone who doesn't share is stupid when it comes to these things.. If they found them.. you will.. it just takes time.. the fact that most places sell these pins for a silly amount of money is just asking for it, when no one buys stuff from them anymore.
If you click on some of the links that B18c1turboedEK provided they appear as if they are the female small and large pins along with the A/B/D OBD1 connector plugs for that half of your project.
As for the other pins I would look here
http://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/ind.../cPath/109_172 This tells you that the pins will be made by Amp/Tyco .. on a side note
DSM's use http://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/ind.../cPath/109_130 Delphi / Packard.
This is a link to Delphi's parts catalog
http://delphi.com/pdf/contact/brochu...balCatalog.pdf
This is a link to Tyco's part's listing.. It's not setup the same way and doesn't have the same easy single pdf listing, or none that I can find but here it is
http://www.tycoelectronics.com/compo...E_showAll=true
I don't know of anyone buying new pin's for things like EGR/Iat/Map those types of connectors.. and I think ChaseBays uses a donated engine harness for frakensteining one together for the end customer. I don't believe they use NEW physical connectors.
Although If you find something, feel free to post it here.
Generally what a lot of people do, and by a lot I mean not a lot.. is reuse the old sensor ends, snip about an inch off clean them really well and go to town.. this is helpful since the sensors still have old wire visible which help you diagnose connector problems using the real honda service manual..... that is if you keep the same sensor end with the same sensor your connecting it too!..
This way you can still use the honda service manual for wire issues should they come up.
Hope this helps! feedback appreciated.

Actually I think B18c1turboedEK provided the Sumitomo parts listed here
http://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/adv...words=Sumitomo
and I just realized I typed a whole lot.
I think a company would benefit from selling a complete obd1 and 2 and whatever else wiring kit from scratch! not sure what a reasonable price would be... but wiring is expensive.

yeah i know of those sites you listed theres just so many different pins they make its crazy hard to find the ones i need lol ..... and yeah chase uses all new wire and all new pins even for map/tps/iat etc. he uses the donor harnesses for the connectors them selves he depins all of them and then uses them on the new wire and new pins.
ps u can never type too much all help is appreciated !!!
thanks chris

Re: Where to source out new ecu pins.
Personally it's not for the faint of heart.
If I were do do this again I would have the engine on an engine stand attach a plank of wood too it about 4 feet long screw the ecu to the other end of it and run each wire to the ecu, un broken.
Any wires that go from sensors to the car, and any wire that goes from ecu to the car would be on a custom connector.
Grounds/ECT/VSS/Power/Clutch/Oil Press/.... Probably a few more I fail to remember this early in the morning. Honestly the fire wall connector is cool looking, but In my mind completely un necessary.. I know I have made a comment to my friends about Honda's are like lego's but how often are you taking the engine out...
Basically the idea is to wire up the obd1 engine like obd2 one piece harnesses. And if your a creative person such as myself, i would probably try and use an existing left over connector for the wires that go to the dash from the engine, and from the car to the ecu.
Oh and save yourself some headache if any of you do this, make the ecu wires a foot longer then necessary and twist them up somewhere hidden under your dash.

Re: Where to source out new ecu pins.
The goal here isn't to sell stuff on this post, its to give people part numbers so they can find the parts themselves.

Re: Where to source out new ecu pins.
Hello guys,... new member here, first post.
I am helping a friend with a 2j vvti swap into a mk3 supra and looking @ using the honda 1050 ems and was searching making my own harness when I came across this thread.
In searching for the pin numbers and such I came across this:
http://96-32-115-198.static.oxfr.ma....5698,5699,5700
Now I'm not sure how I got to these when I was searching the numbers..... But I'm going to order #3 On monday since it's only 2 bucks..... I will post back if by some stroke of luck I am correct.

Re: Where to source out new ecu pins.
Just throwing this out there again. Since it seemed like someone skipped over it.
These parts are from AEM Performance Electronics
35-2610 - Should be able to find it for around $60.54

Re: Where to source out new ecu pins.
This thread has been a big help so far, It would be even better if someone had some good heatshrink and sleeving sources as well as the pins for the honda engine connectors.
Thanks guys, lets make it happen!

Re: Where to source out new ecu pins.
@ likwidchz thanks homie but im not talking about the actual sensors them selves ... i plan on reusing all of the sensors ... im reffering to pins that are in all the sensor plugs trynna make a harness from scratch new wire and pins etc.
many will say ask chase or rywire but the only thing they will do is sell you pins they wont tell you part numbers ...so i was wondering if any one else had this info. please help if any one does thanks !

Honda enigne plugs etc.
These are the plugs and the pins for obd2 civics and integras. i have found most of them but not all.
I am missing the plugs used for the IACV, ECT, etc, the Injector plugs, and the MAP, TPS plugs. If anyone knows which plugs they are please let us know. I do know the TPS/MAP plugs are made by the same company (Sumitomo). I am not sure who makes the others.
now that we have the part numbers, where can we buy these? i know Ballenger Motorsports sells some of these but not all. is there anther source out there?

Re: Where to source out new ecu pins.
Here is a link for Insulation Supply Company in Torrance, CA. They have Raychem DR-25 usually in stock. This is where I pick it up if I need some in a crunch. Not sure if they sell to the general public though.

Re: Where to source out new ecu pins.
I found all of my spare pins and a few shells I needed to complete my harness here:
http://www.newunitedracetech.com/shop/
You can order whatever quantities, shipping is a little steep but prices aren't bad otherwise.
