Default Troubleshooting: IACV & pin configuration using a D16y8 head/D16y7 block?

So I putt a y8 head on my y7 block and I'm trying to figure out the iac stuff I get the whole 3 wire to 2 wire setup and pinout relocation I'm juss trying to figure out if I still need to re pin if I am using a jumper harness to my p28 or do I juss plug my harness into the jumper harness then plug into my p28 then get it chipped and tuned and I'm all good??

yes u need to repin even though you're using the conversion harness
