Troubleshooting: Aftermarket knock sensor creates noise under partial load
After ignition failures and the engine light on since half a year I went to the garage and they exchanged the spark plugs and the knock sensor.
I bought a sensor of Herth + Bauss instead of an original Honda spare part. Maybe a wrong decision.... 'cause after I got the car back, when I am slightly accelerating or driving uphill ("partial load")
I get that sort of crackling noise from the engine, no matter in what gear I am. Could the be caused by a too early ignition as a consequence from not buying the original Honda sensor?
Anyone experienced that? Any ideas...?

okok this seems to be some part of the exhaust system .... had a Honda mechanic looking at that. At least he confirmed that that had nothing to do with the knocking sensor
