solid cel with service connector jumped

ok so i put a tune on my chip and now im getting a solid cel when i jump the service connector... my srs is blinking but thats bc of my horn.. when i looked up the solid cel i found it was due to the ecu?? but my car runs fine and when i disconnect the chip it runs like crap and when i plug it back in its fine.. and the checksum routine is removed. any ideas?

Do you have a CEL when you don't have the service connector jumped? If not, jumping the service connector will present a solid CEL because there are no codes.

Then you're just in limp mode and you should have a 3500 rev limit. Make sure you have the right options disabled and make sure you burned and inserted the chip correctly.
