P1381 & P1336 Wiring issue
Hello all,
I recently bought a 97 cx hatch as a little project car. It has a D16Y8 with a p2p ecu swapped in. Ive been trying to get the car ready to pass an inspection and im down to the last issue, which is 2 codes throwing a CEL (P1381 & P1336). So far i have tested absolutly everything i could and have moved onto the wiring/ecu now and found this. The precious owner completley hacked up the harness. So far i can see he wired the vtec solenoid/IACV 3 to 2 plug and i believe he did the CKF bypass. The big issue is according to my pinout i am missing 10 wires in the bottom row of plug A & C. http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u...psksjmfxk6.jpg Im assuming this is not normal and at this point i need to replace the entire wiring harness instead of trying to figure out what the previous hack did? Or am i out to lunch and there is normally no wires in these bottom rows? |
Re: P1381 & P1336 Wiring issue
I don't think you're missing wires, measure the resistance between the white and blue wires at the ckf snsor, should read 1600-3200 ohms. If not replace the sensor. If good check beteeen c1 and c11 at pcm for the same resistance. If the reading differs significantly repair/replace the harness as necessary. Sometimes the timing belt will rub the wires on the ckf sensor causing some grief.
