Default Neptune closed loop with MTX-L wideband sensor

So Im just brainstorming, trying to setup how I want the car to run in my mind and would like to bounce around a few ideas. The car is your typical Turbo Integra and I would like to tune the car to pass emission test as well. Im running neptune and Innovate's MTX-L wideband sensor (which also has simulated narrowband output).

Im thinking for low load (emission purposes) run closed loop and wire the MTX-L narrowband output to the ECU's 02 input (D14). Keep in mind Im only running one O2 sensor which is the MTX-L and have eliminated the stock O2. The MTX-L's narrowband scaling is 1.1V = 14 AFR and 0.1V = 15 AFR. Im still trying to find what Honda's stock 02 scaling is. Is it the same as the MTX-L?

What do you guys think? Would this work? Im trying not to have to use the wideband for closed loop.

You can use the wideband 0-5 volt output & run it to ELD d10 on the ecu.
You can set a target voltage along with many other parameters in the software.

I wouldn't rely on closed loop to tune your car in general & or get you to pass emissions.
I would suggest you actually tune the car in open loop (no o2 feedback) & you use closed loop for an added buffer.

That should work ok, but you may need to adjust some things as you see how it reacts. That's not the stock voltage output and it's not just fuel that gets you to pass emissions, so unless you tune it specifically to pass emissions you may not pass.

For general closed loop operation, like John said, tune it properly in open loop and then enable closed loop.

Oh ok, enabling closed loop using the wideband would be a better idea then?

No, you'll need adjustments there as well. You'll be fine tuning with anything other than a stock o2, since that's what it's setup for stock.
