ECU Selection B18C1 1999 EK Hatch
Hello all,
Searched for a solution for this question I had but could not find anything. I have a 1999 Civic DX, and I recently had it swapped with a 2000 GSR motor and trans. The shop who did it for me said I could use a P2T to run the car. The P2T I am running is giving me P0133 code, slow read on the O2 sensors. I know P2T's are reknown for being extremely sensitive and throw the code very often. I would also like to run the right ECU for the car. I know the shop who swapped the car told me they would have to ditch the IAB's to run the P2T. I was wondering if I could just get a OBD2A P72 ECU and use a harness to run that in the car. Would that give me any issues? Considering the IAB's are unplugged. VTEC wires have been wired into the current harness.

I would use an OBD-2B -> OBD-2A adapter harness and a '96-98 P72 ECU. Plug the IAB's back in and run it.
