Do I need a basemap!??just put turbo in b20vtec
hey everyone I have a b20vtec with bolt ons. It has a p28 ecu with hondata. I just put a turbo in it the other day and I need to know if I still have to buy a basemap to drive the car around or because I already have hondata it will be okay to drive until I get it dynotuned? Also am about to put 550cc injectors in as well TIA.

Theoretically you could drive directly to a tuner if you leave your current injectors in and disconnect a charge pipe so you don't make any boost. Then just swap in your new injectors and hook your charge pipe up on the dyno. Not the best way to do things but it has been done.

Depending on how far away the tuner/dyno shop is, just get the car towed there. That way, the car will be ready to be tuned and you won't have to swap out any parts.
