Default D16z6 cylinder/spark plug spacer??

Quick question guys.
Is there supposed to be a spark plug height difference on cyl. #2? When I last did a tune up, the other 3 plugs thread down about 13 full turns but #2 Is only 9 so I removed that plug and noticed theres like a riser/washer around the hole that looks like it's part of it..
Is this normal? Or maybe its where a previous owner did a repair?

thanks ppls

Yup, not normal. Sounds like a sparkplug thread repair sleeve was installed. I have one in my car currently. It won't harm anything if it was installed correctly. It doesn't sound like it was though if it's sticking up

Ah crap I was worried it wasn't good..probably a pretty big job to re-do what's been already done. I did however take an old spark plug and cut off the washer that was on it and was able to get 2 more full turns in. making it less than the other 3 by 1 turn (which seems much better) now contemplating doing the same to my current plug on that cyl.
Does it make any difference if those washers aren't on the plug? Do NOT want to mess anything up worse lol

Oh and thanks for the replies guys. Here's a side by side of the washer I'm talking about now.

that is a gasket, not a washer. and you Need to have the gasket on the plug or it will not seal

Ohhh duh haha thanks man..that was dumb and coulda been bad.
But is it possible to re-do a thread repair that's been done wrong? I feel like it's probably a pretty big job but definitely needs my attention soon..

Anyone know how I could go about removing this weird repair? The threads dont really seem affected, it's just like a ring sitting on top between the plug and hole that i do not understand (pic).
I found a great video on how to do it the right way with a simple repair kit so it's gotta go.

Tried to get a good side by side to show what I'm talking about. Going to look more into it tomorrow. Thanks!
