i have a problem with my car. b16a2 i got a wire worx budget engine harness. got it wired up. i couldn't use the old Series injectors and one is shot cracked injector. i had RC 550cc injectors on the side with new o rings so i got it to use with the harness. I have a problem i got the engine to start up and idles find fixed the error codes. ECT temp error. and reconnect the connectors to correct places. except the VSS at the moment bc the connector is not good. other than that it idles perfectly and seems ok. no check engine error codes.

the problem i went for a test drive the engine would cut off at 4500rpm. why is that.
all the gears the engine like a rev limiter.
cut off at that rpm.

any clues on what might it to cause this problem.
its my daily so i need this running.
any tips and some info thanks much.

If the VSS is not working and thus, the ECU is seeing ZERO vehicle speed regardless of how fast you truly are moving, you may have a launch rpm setting interfering with your actual engine rev limit. Launch control by default would be activated until the vehicle's speed is greater than 0 mph. Fix the VSS and see if your problem goes away.
