B16a2 in ej8, obd2a to obd2b conversion (p2t Ecu)
Hi I have a 98 civic ej8 with a b16a2, it currently has the stock p2p and ej8 harness (I didn’t do this). I bought a 99-00 P2T civic si Ecu and plan on ordering a eBay obd2a to obd2b Ecu jumper harness. (1)My question is what else will I need to make the motor run correctly? (2) Vtec, dizzy etc. all plug up to existing ej8 harness is this normal or modified?Anything would be appreciated stumped on this one. |

I did this to my 1998 civic. I did it the hard way though. You will need to move the O2 sensor and add VTEC wires. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/honda-t...e52b27851a.png |

I see you say you're going to find a OBD2A to OBD2B conversion from Ebay? I almost went this route on my B16a2. I realized while looking for that specific jumper conversion that NOBODY sells one except TA Motorsports or Rywire, I believe, both were not cheap at all. So good luck finding one! Instead of this I went to a P30, but you have a different harness and so on so I don't know how that would work for you.

Boomslang Fabrication sells one as well.
