Assistance needed: Tuning tips on spikes in fuel map w/ differing AFRs
I've been messing around with some different target AF in Crome and wanted some opinions.
D16Z6 - stock
Intake and exhaust
eg hatch
p28 w/ crome dealer
The first pic is what I have been running but I was thinking of switching to the second table with 14.7 up to column 5 and then adding fuel.
I was also wanting to know how do we determine what the difference should be in target AF ratio between Columns. Is there an equation?
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: need advice on target A/F in crome
For sure, the first picture looks better. Running richer in columns 7-8 are worthless, indeed, you can lean it a bit on cruise (2000-5000 RPM from columns 3-7), numbers near 15/15.2 are acceptable.
For the last two columns, just enrich them a bit, you will find best performance near 13.3/12.9.

yeah it does seem to run much better with the first map. I haven't gotten it to log in column 9 or 10 yet. It usually won't log anything above 5000 RPM either which is a bit annoying.

spikes in fuel map
This a stock d16z6. The AF ratio's in my data logs are pretty much spot on but when I look at the 2d graphs they are not smooth at all.
How do I smooth out the maps with out throwing off my AF ratio?
