Plastic gauge measurement result. Need some Help.

Hello,

I got the result by the plastic gauge but have confuse , do I need to replace the thicker one main bearing.
There are show out the No.1 & 5 cap clearance in 0.0015' in the service range (apply 73Nm torque to bolt) , But show out near 0.020' on the No.2,3,4 bearing cap(apply 64 Nm), According to the result, It is close to the service limit.

It has not the noise from bearing before I disassemble. So, I just match a new set bearing according by the engine block and crankshaft code.

Otherwise, Do I need to remove the plastic gauge on the bearing after measurement? How can I clean it, its easy to make the scratch.

Thanks all.

To remove the residue, I use some xylene (or other solvent) on a rag and it takes it right off.
