High HP GSR assembly / Question

New to this site, I’m assembling a fully built gsr. The block is Freshly Darton sleeved, I had them to everything to the block that could be done, now it just needs to be assembled. I also got my head ported. I’m using an LS crank which was just micro polished., turbo tuff piston and rods, super tech valve train and some aftermarket cams. Every part in this is brand new. This build will be making over 800hp and I want to assemble it myself however my worry/ questions is if there’s any different between assembling a stock gsr to an 800hp gsr. Just want to know if there’s any tricks or anything. Thank you.

Re: High HP GSR assembly / Question

The short answer is yes. To put it very simply: Your not using factory parts so unless you can find someone with the same exact components, things will most likely be checked for clearance.
