Head testing
 
Im taking my head to be pressure tested and resurfaced tomorrow. Do I need to take the cover or any components? Im a newb to machining.

I had to take the head apart to the point of not cams or rocker arms and no dowels.
I left the spings/retainers and valves in place.

Ask you machine shop, they will tell you how they would like to receive the head.

Also remove the sensors and water outlet cover.
