Default Failed leakdown after new gasket and resurface

My d16y8 just recieved a new head gasket and resurface. Problem is when i pressurize a cylinder i get air in the coolant. Im almost convinced that block must be resurfaced. Any input is welcomed.

Do i need to dissassemble the block to have it decked?
should i resurface the head again? 1,000 miles since done last.

block may be warped, and yes it needs to be completely torn down to resurface.
could have a cracked cylinder too. or the head may be cracked

Thinking a crack would cause a leak from 1 or 2 cylinders, not all 4

Have you heat cycled the head gasket? Or is this before running the engine even once after the install?

Thank you. The way your post read, I and possibly others can't tell if you were pressuring the cylinder immediately after install or after some use (heat cycles) and discovering the reoccurring issue.
