There's people running over 1500hp with them.
Honestly, I don't think anyone has ever broken one in a honda if the tune was correct and no other mechanical issues.
I know one person who was almost at 2,000hp with an h22 that had MID sleeves, then the block itself split in half all the way around. All the sleeves were still good though.

Ah yes, I too am familiar with the 302 Windsor block.

But yes - I have never heard of anyone cracking or breaking a ductile iron sleeve on a Honda engine. Darton MID, Golden Eagle, LA, Benson, etc... I've never heard of one cracking or breaking, the only failures I've ever heard of have been sinking or shifting as the result of improper installation/seating.

I was joking - I've owned a couple fox bodies and their 302 engines are notorious for block split starting around the 500HP mark.

Ah gotchya. I've heard that, but have never seen it happen in person. And we've built and tuned a handful of those 302's to 600+ at our shop.
