b16 head - rocker arms stuck. need help!
 

Hey guys, I bought a b16a3 del Sol SI head from eBay.

Thing is absolutely mint, had it's valves done by a reputable shop, hot tanked twice and decked .004

Thing is absolutely gorgeous, but when I got it prepped to install on my b18c1, I found that a few of the rocker arms will not come up, and are stuck down, and are locked to the middle rockers, and only move upwards about a millimeter.

I didn't want to put the cams on, in fear something would go bad, assuming I'd try to start the motor like that

Either way, any insight or help would be greatly appreciated.
I'll try to post some pics, but I found absolutely nothing.

I've ever checked out the service manual, but there is literally only a half page dedicated to installing them, and I don't feel comfortable taking the rocker arms completely off, as much as it's probably advised to reinstall them.

Last thing I noticed is that, when I move let's just say cylinder 3's stuck rocker arm, the set in cylinder one will move up and down very slightly.

Unlikely but Sounds like they are dry on the rocker shaft but how the hell can that be?? Instead of forcing it up you will have to remove the two 8 or 10mm Allen plugs from the timing side and slide the shafts out, you will have to pull out the oil orifices out from the top where the no. 1 cam caps sit for exh and int. You will have to screw in a bolt into the shafts to pull them out and inspect the rockers.
