Hi.
I have bought a piston kit for my Honda S2000 AP2 with F22 engine ( K632M87 ) and I would like to know what piston to wall clearance you recomend for 800 hp. In your paper sheet it is recomended that 0.003 clearance is used.
I'm sure this sugested clearance is too tight for my power goals. I was about to use 0.0045 clearance.
what I want to know is: is that ok or too loose and could damage the piston? is the piston skirt coated and after breakin period the coating disapear and the clearance increase? what's the tickness of the piston skirt coating ( armorglide )
On the site of wiseco it says that the coating is not a breakin coat and it will wtay with the pistons under normal working condictions.

We used 9/100mm piston to wall clearence. Piston skirt looks good and the hone too. A little bit noise on cold start but its ok. On b18c1 engine

you mean 0.09mm? that's 0.0035. how much power are you making with that clearance and what boost pressure? is your car a dedicaded race car or DD too?

Yeah 0.09mm. power we see at monday on dyno. Actual 18psi on dd garrett t3t04e. 10:1 piston
