93 Delsol with B16b swap
 

So I’ve been buying and getting ready to drop this B16b in my 93 Delsol, today I started to put the motor in and now I’m stuck, my tranny is hitting the frame and I have the motor mount bolt in, but on my drive side the motor mount is a bolt whole off from lining up, and I look at the alternator and it’s hitting the frame as well. My Delsol was automatic and was converted. It had and D16z6 in it with a hydraulic transmission.. the B16b seems like it either to big or sitting back to far. I’m not sure. It has a 2 post mount on the driver side. I was told that the 2 post from and EK and a EG are different, I’m lost right now can anyone throw some ideas at me. Here are some pics. Could it just be because I tried to save money the eBay mounts are wrong? Do I have to cut and mover the frame mounts?

Wrong mounts... especially the tranny mount. Get a quality set of mounts for an EG auto-to-manual "B" series conversion. HASport is a good choice.

Thanks, took me a while of searching but I found the tranny Bracket that you weld in from hasport. It was under accessories.
