Wilwood DynaPro H/A & 13inch wheels?
I have heard the DynaPro Honda/Acura 4 piston calipers will clear with Belak and other drag racing 13" wheels. Trying to find some insight on this before ordering a set and being disapointed.
This kit is for Honda and Acura models originally equipped with 262mm diameter rotors. These calipers bolt directly to the stock mounts on factory spindles, fit over the OE 262mm diameter rotor, accept the OE brake hose. proven DynaPro series four piston calipers, the forged billet bodied DPHA caliper delivers high-strength clamping force and positive stopping power. Four stainless steel pistons provide fully balanced pad loading, along with the corrosion resistance and thermal retardant qualities of the stainless alloy that will keep your calipers cooler and running trouble free for many more miles. Calipers work perfectly with the OE master cylinder. with either black or red high-gloss, high-temp, brake fluid resistant sealed powder coat. New SFWD Honda 4 piston brake kit that FITS behind 13" Welds, Nitro, Belak.

How does this compare to fastbrakes.com drag setup, price wise and performance? Fastbrakes also use Wilwood calipers, here's the link: http://www.fastbrakes.com/category_s/91.htm
I'm going to assume Dynapro's will outperform fastbrakes because it's 4pistons, fastbrakes is a 1piston setup, but what's the cost comparison to performance ratio? I remember Miller (CMR) stating that he had no problems stopping in his 8.0X hatch with OEM calipers/brakes.

http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...=&pgGrp=search these r cheaper and will stop better I'm sure, but the 1 piston ones r designed to save weight which I'm sure they do.

We run the fast brakes kit stops the fine at 150+ never had to pull the chute from not being able to stop , and this is the single piston kit with the single layer drag rotor, also that kit shown looks like it wouldn't save much weight where with the fastbrakes kit we saved 13lbs per side

In all honesty, I'm not going fast enough to need baller brakes. I can stop with no problems with my brembo/axxis ult combo. I wanted to help out OP and wanted to gain knowledge for my future reference. Thank you everyone for your replies!

Re: Wilwood DynaPro H/A & 13inch wheels?
I personally like the Kaizenspeed front drag kit, but i dont like the fact you cant get the rotors readily available anywhere. If you notice its a re drilled rotor, But KS quality is second to none IMO!
Is the fast brakes kit also need a special re drilled rotor too?
Only reason i was looking into the dynapro is you can use the original rotor that you can get any where locally, and I have a few vendors of mine that carry Wilwood products.
I personally would want the slim rotor and single piston for light weight, but as i stated i want an available rotor or part if im in a pinch.

Personally if I could put my stock brakes back on I would... Those single calipers either twin or single piston, don't stop very well just my opinion. Like Everly says if your not at MIR you will pull the chute...

Re: Wilwood DynaPro H/A & 13inch wheels?
We use the Fastbrakes front stuff all the time(and Kaizenspeed rear trailing arm kits), they also offer the two piston front kit as well, and the Fastbrakes rotors are not custom, its a rear rotor from another car..
Both the Fastbrakes and the Kaizenspeed use Wilwood calipers. Can't go wrong with either choice, both save a decent amount of weight, and I have stopped from 170+ multiple times on my white Integra without the chute at multiple tracks.

Re: Wilwood DynaPro H/A & 13inch wheels?
I believe the fast brakes uses a rear rotor from a mini cooper, have had them on the car about 3 years and rotors and pads still look/work brand new, car is a tad over 2400lbs with driver probably 150-200 150+mph passes only pull the chute once every event at most just to make sure everything is in order and repack
Stock em1 prop valve and the car does still have the stock rear brakes on the pedal if that makes a difference

OP do you have a link to order these? I can't seem to find them on the Wildwood site, all of those say you need to run a 15" wheel. Thanks!

right here bud. it just says you need a 15 inch rim because not all 13 and 14s will clear.
