Also, i've gotten quite a few PM's asking if this will work with a stock trans. It will, it shifts just like a regular shifter as far as the tranny knows, you can use it with any linkage operated tranny (B and D). Just helps prevent missed shifts.

Re: T1 G Force Shifter kit
Anyone drive around on the streets with this??? How does it compare to a stock shifter with a linkage? Is there that loose feeling when you wiggle the shifter left and right in Neutral?

Re: T1 G Force Shifter kit
There are a few variables when it comes to side play and "slop". This shifter/kit is adjustable in almost every aspect. I tore mine apart the first day I had it just to see how it worked. There will always be the ability to push the shift lever left or right when in neutral.... that's how the trans works. With this there is a little more friction than the stock feel and it tends to pull to the center which assists in the 2-3 shift.

this is one of the best pieces i have bought for my car. we have driven the car on the street with a liberty plenty of times, its nice. there is nothing loose about this shifter, haha. i actualy took it completely apart and greased the heck out of everything.

This sounds great! I know you have to run solid motor mounts, anyone here notice a difference compared to Hasport Regular motor mounts on the streets?

Re: T1 G Force Shifter kit
i took the solid mounts out of my race integra and put them into my street integra when i got the black sleeper style mounts and my DD integra shook and vibrated like a crack ***** and the race car didnt at all. my DD civic with solid mounts didnt vibrate any at all. seems to be a hit or miss deal. on my DD integra i left the rear mount solid and put non solid upper mounts and it was absolutely pefect. and it was 100% stock, other than that so with the factory exhaust and all you could really tell everything that was going on.
we put a T1 shifter into a stock trans car yesterday. felt amazing.

Re: T1 G Force Shifter kit
Ok i have heard a few things regarding solid mounts and the T1 shifter...
People have claimed to run all 3 solid mounts on a stock tranny and have broken gears maybe due to vibration or no flex idk....Now do you have to run all 3 solid or can you use a solid rear mount and normal hard type mounts for the driver and tranny side.. Thanks i searched but couldnt find that question asked.

any movement with the engine will most likely **** the dog teeth up. in order for the shifter to work properly, the engine needs to be mounted solid, as well as the shifter. this shifter doesnt have any bars attaching it to the engine, like the oem shifter assembly has.

Re: T1 G Force Shifter kit
the shifter needs to be setup properly, ive seen more than one occasion when the shifter wasnt "centered" properly, causing the forward motion to barely engage the dog teeth, while moving the shifter backwards would make a full engagement. (this can happen the opposite way as well, foward = full engagement, backward, not full engagement)
i call user error !!
