Staging Brake/ Front Brake Only Questions?!?
 

Im trying to use a CNC staging brake lever setup for my drag crx, I got stainless hose running from the brake lever to a tee off to each rear caliper.

My question is: If im going to retain the stock Master Cylinder for the brake pedal and I already removed all the lines from the car, should I just CAP off the second outlet on the Master Cylinder and run a line that tee's off to each front caliper or should I retain the factory Prop Valve, run lines from the master cylinder to it and then cap off the rear outlets on the prop valve? let me know what you guys did and how its working out, thanks https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Which CNC brake did you buy?

If you bought the one without its own master cyl. You need to tee the fronts off one of the outlets on the master. The other outlet on the master goes to a prop. valve (wilwood, summit, etc.) inlet. Run a line from the outlet to the stage brake.

If you got the one with its own cyl. I would run a line to each brake from the master. not through the prop. valve. A prop. valve is to limit the fluid pressure to the rear, so as you will lock up the front before the rear.

thanks thats what i figured, is it cool to just cap off one of the two outlets from the master cylinder and run a tee to both of the front calipers from one outlet?

If you just cap it off the pressure will build up against the plug and hinder the travel of the master cylinder, either get a single outlet cylinder or find another way to plumb the brakes
