Chad swing by anytime and check it out, might put you to work tho.
luck4rmkc- thanks on the car and kid props. no 10s, just went 11.4 @135 is my fastest time. after the last ifo in kc that year is when the car went down. this car will look pretty much the same as the last on the outside but inside i'm losing all the show bling and just going with stock interior. main thing with the new car is to lose some weight, the old car was a heavy 2800lbs without me in it...
cfwthb_94- yea its been being built at a very slow pace but right now im taking a break from sidework and knocking this thing out so i can get it out of our body shop before it gets messed up. if all works out ill be up for sure at the 2nd kc ifo.
hello1320- never heard about that til now and wow that thing is pretty sick, also a pretty penny.

Yes it's ross machine stuff, I just have the flanges cnc'd
The getrag trans in these cars are pretty tuff, other than a obx lsd mine is stock and was on stock axles and it took the hits. I did run into a problem with mine at the end of the season the last year the car was together, where I was getting locked out of 3rd gear. I haven't took it apart yet but I'm guessing the syncros are bad or the nylon tips on the shift fork either broke off or are badly worn which is a common problem with high hp. Not sure on the weight, I have only raced and will for the most part only race ifo events. I hope to go out east for a bigger event at some time but that wont be til next year most likely.

Nice setup
On the cage pics, I thought the window net had to have all mounting points inside the cage itself? I see the top part of the net is mounted outside the halo, is that legal?

Nice to see something different. My dad runs and swears by electromotive, he even beta tests for them on his SRT. Looking forward to the finished product.

theres a cavalier around these parts that my buddy owns. Made 600+whp last year. 3800 series motor with a 67mm precision billet turbo.
This is the only picture I have of it, it broke an axel and I was towing it back to pits...

The car looks great! I'm grateful the SCSS at Gateway is no-longer because you might have taken the track record from us!
We'll have to hook up for an IFO roadtrip.

Small update, got some mounts tacked up, made my cold pipe and welded the 3" pipe to the intercooler, and my buddy finish welding up my intake with his dynasty 700 since my machine wont cut it welding up some thicker material.

Being a GM technician, but a Honda Builder, I was beginning to think of the potential of a built ecotec motor and such after seeing a few cars built up like this and ballards car.
You might want to check the window net mounting tho, AFAIK the tabs have to be mounted inside the cage.
