I wanted to see some race or tucked rad set ups.
I just got mine in but no mounting tabs or filler neck so looking into ideas on how to mount it and I just got regular 32mm outlets/inlets

I have a Scirocco radiator in my DC with top mount manifold. I used an inline fill neck which proves to be useless and to low for proper air bleed. I had Dave Fry make me a surge tank setup off my coolant neck so i have a high point in the cooling system to the height of the valve cover. Works great !

I have a lean kit (k-series) and the front intake takes up 75% of the front radiator support width so hard to squeeze a radiator thats wider than 11 inches...so I got a CX Racing Air intercooler 11" x 13" and weld in -12AN fittings to use as radiator... ASP and K Tuned make the coolant adapter off the head with a small canister and radiator cap so that its the highest point on the coolant setup...

This is the exact radiator i have from that seller on ebay. I believe I paid 150 shipped. It's a dual pass style rad and cools VERY well. My car stays in the 180's driving. At the track on a hot day highest temp Iv'e seen after making a pass was 202 at the end of the track and the temps come back down to high 180's very quickly This is in a 800hp car and I live in Texas. Heat wrapping also makes a huge difference in heat soak and keeps temps down

To fit that radiator did you have to remove your hood latch? I just don't see any other way of fitting it? Any pics showing the whole thing?

The Speedfactory unit is very nice, but it seems hard to run a topmount setup with this radiator. Especially if you plan on running the puller fans on the engine side of the radiator (as pullers).

I would be interested to see if anyone has made this work, regardless of turbo manifold design.

Well the sheepey one I have is almost identical to SF rad. I'm running a forward facing mani with up pipes so I guess I'll have to fab something up and run a radiator cap filler neck from SF.
When I put mu engine back in ill get some pics in. But I was hoping someone else would have pics for ideas..

I'm currently running a dizzy with hondata CPR until I switch to AEM.

Yes you have to cut out the hood latch in order to fit in like I currently have mine setup. Before my new manifold I was able to retain the stock hood latch when the radiator didn't need to be as far forward. I'll snap some better pics.

I'm running back door intercooler on both the hot and cold side. You have to trim the sheet metal but it works. As far as with a forward facing manifold I'm not sure.

Here's some pics of the bracket I made from aluminum. Seems to like it will work for me. I'm also fabbing a small bracket for the top end tank.

The scirocco aluminum radiator I have the end tank where the inlet and outlet side goes through. I stuck a wire through to see if there was anything blocking but guess not. I can clearly fish wire it from the inlet to the outlet. Thought there suppose to be a plate blocking it off so coolant can flow through to the other end and back. I'm going to have to cut it and mod it.

Is tucked radiator setup with -16an hoses is efficient enough to run on the track (circuit, time attack) ??

I just cut and resize and relocate the bottom water neck. Reason i cut it is to mske room for future lean set up

I have the speed factory drag radiator with spal fan, and meziere water pump for my current setup, I use a full race topmount and it places the wastegates in a very weird position so running dual 3" backdoor intercooler, and 3.5" downpipe. I hope with this new setup I can have A normal looking engine bay in a car that stays cool in all conditions, I plan to run a oil cooler as well. I always overheats on the dyno, so I travel with a giant BMW radiator and attach it to the bumper for dyno tuning.

more cooling surface is always goping to be better for extended periods of spirited driving. use a shroud and a good fan and allow the fan to run above xxx mph. Also making sure all air makes its way through the rad helps a lot and heat wrap
