Re: post your nitrous 1/4 mile times here (AR Fab)
eg my head is all stock except skunk springs and retainers. the head is not ported at all stock valves stock cams and stock sprokets
when i first did the gsr swap in the crx about 4 -5 years back it was all stock not even a header just a ignition, muffler, filter 125 shot nos plate and the car went 12.19@113 but with that little power it actually hooked up

I dont live on honda-tech so I havent had time to change it. But I have recommited my self to doing what I said I was going to do. The car is now going back to the chassis shop to get the weight down and have new wheelie bars made. Also the motor is getting some needed changes over the winter. </TD></TR></TABLE>
There you go...thats what I'm talkin about.

I would get some SS valves and valve springs. I would also look into getting a intake mani. 175 is alot of nitrous. Start with less and work your way in to 175 you will learn a lot more and save some parts in the process. Good luck

thanks...another question...ive seen alot of forced induction cars running stock ports... and even stock cams... i plan on getting an AEBS intake mani and 65mm throttle body.... what are some of your suggestions on a head for nitrous build (aside from the valvetrain) ...

14.2 @ 96 (2.2 60')with a 65 shot (zex) with Intake, header, flywheel, and ITR tranny on kumhos. (The ITR tranny dropped about a second off my time)
EDIT: ...on a B18B

Re: (usdm420)
Yeah, it was 15.6 @ 92 on a basically stock LS with 55 shot. 2.4 60'. The track was really shitty, it hadn't been paved since the 1960's. Luckly they repaved it this year, which contributed to some of the 1.4 second drop in time, along with +10 nitrous shot and ITR tranny. But don't LS's with a 55 shot run about low 15's anyway?

Re: (whatVTEC)
Buddy has an LS motor, cams, stock block (see a trend) ran 12.8@78 on a 350 dry kit thing, 2 stages. It ran 12.3 on a 150 single stage. It bent some valves with the 350 shot.

Re: (eghead)
Yup. He wired up the other solenoid to a switch and just opened it too. That is a guesstimated 350, two 175 solenoids. Prolly more in the range of a 300shot. Sorry for misconception.

my original plan was to build my motor and spray around a 250 shot. I did quite a bit of reading on it. I decided to go turbo though for various reasons. I'd love to hear about your setup, PM it to me if you want.

Keep in mind i was pulling ~2.5 60's, the track was hooking up like a wet street. Spun them until 60MPH. The track hadn't been paved in over 40 years if you missed my previous post.
