Ohio drag race
I was considering holding a honda acura only drag race in northeast ohio .it would be a non sanctioned event but would have some sort of cash payout there would probably be a car show involved with it also i would like some input on this and if anyone would be interested in attending .

Me and Slowmotion Motorsports would be very excited to be there. Please keep us updated and let me know if there is anything we can do.
What Track are you looking to provide it at?

It sounds like a good idea. Quaker is a pretty good stirp too, last time I was there was for the "stop-light" drags they had, AWSOME time.

I agree, but very $$$ and I am guessing too late to be included in their 2005 schedule.

Let it be an import event. I'll bring my slow POS Mitsu Eclipse out to play .
Quaker is a good track, 10 minutes from my house. We're renting it out a few times this year.

I would try Quaker, I don't think Norwalk can rent to any other Sport Compact events outside of Buscher's eveny and the NOPI event. Just a heads up.

I actually wouldn't mind it being a heads up event. I ain't skeert of no DSM's.
(if I don't sell that car first, then you can keep your fast *** DSM's away from me )

Re: Ohio drag race (WS6Dreams)
Dragstar,
If you schedule an event at Salem, try not to do it around July 31, or October 15-16. Nopi is having an event at Norwalk in October and Import Face-Off is hosting an event at Kil-Kare Raceway in Xenia (between Columbus and Cincinnati) in July.
http://www.nopi.com
http://www.importfaceoff.com
There will be 6 different race classes at the Import Face-Off (3 heads up, 3 bracket) and cash payouts for each class.
...just a heads up.

Salem was good to us when we were dwon there for the truck/car show last summer, i might be intrested in comming down, depending on dates, and classes... we are running a full race all motor car, and im not good at brackets any more...
so id run a heads up class.... keep me posted. its only about 5-6 hours for us to come down for...

Re: Ohio drag race (WS6Dreams)
My best trap so far is 132.7mph. 3-4 more psi possible with this turbo, then I'm going bigger. Might be a 140mph car by the spring.
It's FWD so it doesn't ET good, but I'm looking for 11.50's or so.
