Hahahaha
How many former racers do you think you're gonna get, Nopiman?
I didn't lose any money, but for the sheer fact that you did "us" wrong, ill never attend.

I had a lot of fun at NOPI events in the past.
However, when they left, they did so without notice and without refund to any of the class sponsors who paid for a full season.
Some of the racers helped get those class sponsors, myself included.
They hurt other businesses who were trying to do right for racers and hurt relationships.
For that reason, I will NEVER support another NOPI event.

I've only been around for two years or so with the drag racing forum, but can the OG's explain what happened?
Also, those classes are ****. Go to import showdown or import faceoff's website and do heads up racing with either one of their rule sets.

Here is some reading for you.
http://www.hondaddy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=17
and then
https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...i+drops+series
Basically NHRA and NOPI combined and then about halfway through the season NOPI went under.

I flat out miss NOPI as a sanctioning body and I took them for granted when they were around. FOR SURE!
If you don't think that NOPI cared about the racers, then you just don't know what you are talking about. They cared, they just didn't make it and when you run out of money, someone is getting hurt there is no smooth transition out of that. But they DID care about the racers 100%. I'm debating posting what I want to say about that, and the current state of things.

Wow Really?
You Guys hurt a lot of teams and killed there racing.
Why in the world would you rub it into there faces and try to do it again?
Why dont you pay the teams the money they lost and then just Maby they might think of coming to an event you are putting on.

I don't know if you remember me, but you came to the last NHRASC banquet and I had a ticket for you.
I had a bad feeling walking out of that banquet and a few weeks later the announcement of a NHRASC/NDRA combo and that flopped and things are barely righting itself since then.

I enjoyed racing Nopi events. I had a blast. I felt very welcome at there events. Was very disappointed that they had to stop the series.

Re: NOPI NATIONALS Atlanta - Drag Program - 9/21-22
I always enjoyed the Nopi show (car show guy at the time)
But my last show was the little series they tried to do
It was at commerce
Was raining
Canceled the Drag side of the program, didnt give anybodies money back (I think I talked to Stover about that)
Then about three months later just stopped doing shows and took all the money.
I know **** happens, but still
Pretty crappy
