Nitto NHRA Sport Compact World Finals - October 21-22, 2006 - Pomona Raceway
 

This is the big one - World Famous Pomona Raceway (now called Auto Club Raceway at Pomona)

$144K up for grabs in all Championship Pro Classes points chase. All four West Region Sportsman Championships are yet to be determined as well.

We have limited tech-cards sold at this event due to a hard curfew and no lights at the track. We sold out 12 noon on Saturday last year. Get to the track early (Friday or Sat) to get a tech-card to guarentee your entry.

Friday, Oct. 20
Gates Open 10 a.m.
Pit Parking 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tech Inspection and Registration 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 21
Gate Open 7 a.m.
No Unmuffled Engines Start Until 8:30 a.m.
Tech Inspection 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
ET Brackets Time Trials 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Heads Up Qualifying 1 1:30 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Sunday, Oct. 22
Gates Open 8 a.m.
No Sunday entries for this event; entries may be purchased on Saturday
ET Tech Inspection (For those not completed on Saturday only) 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
NHRA Xplod Stylefest 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
ET Time Trials (No Punches on Run Card) 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Eliminations (AM, HR, SF, SR, SS and Q16, only if 9 or more cars) 10:30 a.m.
Opening Ceremonies Noon
Eliminations 12:30 p.m.

All tickets will be sold the day of the event at the gate.

I will be there, I have to shoot an event in monterey wed-sat night, however i'm either flying back or driving back that night and will be thee sunday morning.
