Re: NEW...SpeedFactory SFWD Project....
Thanks Isaac. I cannot express how im fortunate to have Stephen and Mfactory on board for this. They striving to making new and improve parts for the industry. Car is finished and we did some test and tune this week. Let me say it was quite the experience. Since its been damn near 5 years since I ran a SFWD car. And its a whole new beast. Car was built to precision and we used every parts that I always wished for. Car did amazing on the dyno. So Wednesday we went to Pacific raceways and James the man he is knew what I was getting into said Lets do a 1/2/3 and let off the car in 4th.
So we agreed. The car was crazy! Launched the car and it hooked pretty well and went down the track. Everything went so smooth and when I got into 4th I lifted per the logs and video at apporx the 900 ft mark. It felt very fast and I decided to pull the chute. I came to a stop and loaded the chute back in thinking wow that felt good. I had no clue what I ran as of yet. Car is on MH 24.5's and weighing 2360 per the corner scales. Cole ran behind me and came to me celebrating on my pass. I didn't have a clue what I ran. I got the slip and realized I just went 8.80@147 and this was letting off early. This is something I wasn't even expecting. Did another run but got outta the groove and went towards the wall so I again lifted and backed it with a 8.89@149. I am very pleased with the car and the detail and precision these guys put into it. We had a wheel speed sensor issue that needs to be replaced. Yesterday track wasn't good at all and I spun all the way through 3rd and 4th and basically I was on the limiter for a little too long. Logs showed .6 of no acceleration due to my bad being on the limiter too long, but that's just something I need to work on myself. But atleast it made it all the way down the track. 300, 1/8 times I was almost 3 tenths behind my first passes on Wednesday. But whats funny is once again I went 8.80@177. So overall I am so humbled and happy with the car, and being a part of the Speedfactory Family. And I learned so much from James and know I have more to work on. Thank you guys for going out of your way for me. Plus all the crew team for doing one hell of a job taking care of everything for me. I'm excited as to what potential this car has.

Congrat's Steve, what a way to come back out. Was the tire spin due to the faulty speed sensor?

Re: NEW...SpeedFactory SFWD Project....
It was giving us some traction issues, but It was also a little learning curve on my end, I was trying to drive through the spin and was on the limiter too long in 1-2 and 2-3 which gave me .6 of no acceleration and the short times were 2-3/10ths slowler than what I previously ran. But now we fixed the issue and know what I need to do. Im excited to go back out next month at an event to see what I and the car will do. I don't have pics on my computer here, sorry guys. My instagram has the build process and videos. (dejavuiisteve). Im a busy guy so I really don't have much time posting things. But thanks for the kind words everyone.

Re: NEW...SpeedFactory SFWD Project....
Ran Muscle vs tuner at pacific raceways last sunday. Very hot day and hot track. Car ran great! consistant 8.6's and my best time was 8.58@182. Cant thank Mfactory and speedfactory for the great support. Lookout for the new Mfactory LSD soon which will be able to fit the DSS pro level axles!!
