New PB ET and MPH for my Stock Motor S2000- Video Inside
Took the car this weekend Import Face Off. Still setting up the launch with the new tires etc. These passes were with 1.78 and 1.81 60fts. Car normally cuts 1.60 or so. I think 1-2 more outings and the car will run fast. I was happy to see it go 143mph which is a new record for a S2000 on stock bottom end. Car still has a bit left in it we are not even running all the boost in fourth.
I don't know the race weight but the car is full weight minus the stock soft top. Plus I'm 350lbs so the race weight is got to be 3200lbs or more since it has a heavier diff, heavier trans, and 5 point cage. Still has a/c, power steering everything.
This is the same motor going strong I think it has 64,000 miles now. Only thing done to the engine is Ferrea Beehive springs/titanium Retainers and Brian Crower Stage 2 cams.
Here is the dyno
Mods
Stock 64,000 2.0 Engine
Brian Crower Stage 2 Cams BC0061
Ferrea Beehive Springs/Titanium Retainers
ID2000cc Injectors
Walbro 255 Feeding 2 Bosch 044 Pumps in a Integrated Engineering Tank(stock lines from back to the tank)
Full Blown Fuel Rail
AEM Fuel Pressure Regulator
AEM Series 2 EMS
Kenne Bell Boost A Spark
Real Street Turbo Kit with Precision Billet CEA 6766 T3 .82 Turbo
Clutchmasters Twin disk
Supra V160 Transmission with Full Blown Conversion Kit
3.90 Gears in Ford 03 Cobra IRS with Full Blown Conversion Kit
Boost 29-30psi.
Fuel C16
Here is a video of it on the dyno and on the street

And I thought my 600whp stock K20 was cool.
Congrats! Makes me want to build something similar. Maybe next year!

Good stuff! Congrats
Car looks badass! I am a sucka for silver...
I wish we woulda got to do a rear end in ours when it ran... are you just running an adapter plate to the trans?

I'm running the Full Blown Adapter kit. It is very well made. Shifter position is like stock. Tunnel did not have to be modified or anything either. Plus the transmission shifts at high rpm without any problem.

It's a Honda the torque number is never impressive lol.
So last pass of the day on Sunday broke something on the launch. Car never moved. The diff was a OEM Cobra diff. Now we are going to upgrade it. Luckily the upgraded differential for this thing is only $700 bucks. After that I should not have any problems. The only reason it broke is it was shaking the tires a bit on the other launches. Drag radials are just a bad idea on a IRS car. We are going to switch to slicks which will make the car way more consistent and less likely to break even though I'm launching way harder. I'm sure if I had slicks from the get go the OEM Cobra Diff would of held.

We have several customer with 03-04 Cobra's and they are all anti DR's. lol. We had one run 9's on the stock IRS w/ 6 speed and never broke anything (besides transmissions), and that was weighing 37-3800lbs!
Sick times! Love seeing a stock OEM engine that can do work!
