Ppg dog box
its not very often that I post on here (I just browse more then anything). But good customer service just can't go un-noticed. I can't say enough good things about the guys and girls over at ppg especially mark. I unfortunetly experienced a catastrophic failure to the dog teeth on 3rd gear on my h-series box. I called mark and he asked me to send over some pictures of the failure, so I did. Just talked with him a few minutes ago and he agrees that the failure does appear to be premature. And is willing to assist and they have the parts in stock. He has just been great to deal with the entire time made me feel at ease and that doesn't happen often in the motorsport business. So I just bought I would share, cause its not often someone helps with a repair on a performance part.

Re: Ppg dog box
I have a g-force and they tell me we dont recommend you running 26 inch slicks we cannot guarentee the gearset will hold up..The funny thing is they are quick to sell you a gearset and then afterwords they tell you something different. I love to run a PPG or a ALBINS gear set but i dont have 7 stacks laying around so i will go back to a LIBERTY gearset.

Re: Ppg dog box
I get all of my PPG stuff from T1, and the Albins stuff from SpeedFactory, both great people to work with that really know these gearsets..
I was tempted to try out a G-Force awhile back, but that is also when I found out that you couldn't buy one without paying them to assemble it in your trans, so I moved on. I'm glad I did, there seems to be a lot of issues with the G-Force gearsets. Unfortunately it comes down to money in the gearset game, you get what you pay for.. I really like the price of the G-Force and Liberty gearsets, but after a short time, that price seems to equal out after a handful of replacement parts.
