Re: My 11 Second Stock Internal LS Hatch
Thanks fellas, I got 24.5 MH slicks for the track.
Kind of a disappointing weekend.. Got the car all ready Saturday and took it to one of my local tracks to get some practice before goin to IFO Sunday. First pass I babied it off the line, went to grab 2nd and it like instantly spit it out of gear. Got it to go in 2nd try, ran it out then got denied when I tried for third, now 3rd is completely gone.
It had locked me out when I had tried high rpm shifting on the street but I wrote it off to not having the pedal stop on the clutch for the twin disk. Didn't try doin it again and didn't think much about it just cruising around cause the tranny felt so smooth.
I'm pretty sure the shift fork was already a little bent, cause I know I didn't try slamming it, I was just trying to go thru the gears and get a feel for everything. It just wanted nothing to do with 9200 rpms. Gonna pull it and throw in my old tranny I kept from my last setup. I just hope nothing's too fried on the inside, get it rebuilt and ready to go for the next time.
On a side note, harness looks pretty bad ***.
And welder Dave, the ******* man, getting things in place to weld on the pedal stop

I got my GSR w/ITR diff/final from my old setup I'm gonna throw in there. I'll get this one rebuilt and ready to go for the next time. And yea it's like a yellowish-tannish primer for now. Lol. It'll be Milano red soon enough.

Got the tranny swapped out. Would like to make some passes next weekend, hopefully the weather will cooperate.

Re: My 11 Second Stock Internal LS Hatch
Short answer, no..
First attempt at another pass with the backup tranny I blew out the ITR diff. Swapped out that diff and got it all back together but now it doesn't wanna go into 4th at high rpm. Made a couple shakedown passes on my slicks leaving easy but couldn't really hook 1-3 with how much my front end lifts. Time for suspension, bushings, corner balancing, carbon syncros and I'm sure I'll come up with more.

Re: My 11 Second Stock Internal LS Hatch
That's the plan! Picked up another trans, GSR w/ Quaife and had MistaBone put in a Speedfactory SCHA, new bearings and a clean/rebuild. Also got a set of DSS 2.9 axles, omni drag coilovers, Full-Race pro am traction bar and a energy master bushing kit ready to go on the car. Turn-in just moved to a new location right down the street from me, gonna be goin there for a corner balance and alignment once it's ready.
And finally got a chance to rivet on my CCC street wing I picked up at WCF! Love it! Haha
