Tows great and the trailer is fully loaded, hyd power jack, winch, parts washer, compressor, water tank & pump, ac, generator, aluminum cabinets, work benches, power awning, etc.

Nice deeh. Gotta love old school muscle with an ls motor. My grandpa used to have an old chevy truck like that. My next project is an s14 with an ls1 when I get done with my hatch.

I have decided to put my 03 z71 up for sale and have been seriously thinking of purchasing a newer 4 door 4x4 tacoma.. how does it pull with that trailer ? Have you made any long hauls with it?? great looking truck btw

It's a great truck. I use it as a daily driver, and it's been great the past 3 years I've owned it. I have no input on long hauls (but have been on long trips with it). This was the first time I've towed anything with it, and it did better than what I had expected with the trailer that's in the picture (borrowed from my brother's friend, custom sized made for Datsun 510 vehicles). Not so sure on how it'll perform with a bigger/longer trailer, but I would definitely recommend having some sort of braking assist installed (I'm still learning on how to tow, Lol) since the brakes aren't all that great from the factory, IMO.

If you're thinking about getting a newer Tacoma, you may want to consider the 2016 model that's set to come out in a few months.
