there are already TONS of rigs driving to the track.....the temporary parking lot a 1/4 mile from the track is already starting to fill up with rigs and trailers. this event is going to be H U G E. every year for presidents cup we are out of town for a sport compact race. im excited to go even though i should be working on my car haha</TD></TR></TABLE>

Kick ass and take names later...We'll be coming down Friday, Shawn will be pushing me around in my wheelchair. This will be my first trip back to a track since the accident. I think I'm suffering from withdraw, actually I know i'm suffering from withdraw. Maybe I can get someone to donate a turbo to strap on the wheelchair. If this happened to not fall on the weekend where my moms birthday, sisters birthday, and fathers day were all on the same weekend, I'd be up there.

if you look at the times for the whole event.....everybody is off pace.

talking to some of the different teams ands vendors and what not you kept hearing the same thing....."the track is too good for the air"

jason had mentioned they had to adjust a lot of things to get the car to leave with out falling on its face. on his last pass it didnt bog but it still looked soft compared to normal.

the amount of cars here is insane. pro qualifying was 2.5 hours long. there had to have been nearly 40 cars in pro stock

Great job guys! I'm sure it was fun being the oddball car! It'd be great to see more sport compact stuff mixing in with these well-established events... whatever happened to PFWD running at NHRA events?
