HEAD

Don't mind the mess...I gave it to Ken's Kustom Chassis with some of the interior in it, this is the day we picked it up..The car will be completed for the 08' season. It will be powered by a GE (NA-T)..the first 2 motors will be assembled to see the limits of the engine in stock form. Knowing it is not if but a matter of when they let loose..there will be 3rd which will be a Manley rod, Weisco piston combo. We will be using a HeadGames ported GE head with Ferrea valvetrain. Cams have yet to be decided. A Full-Race exhuast manifold with one of there trick 74mm turbos. A Sound Performance turbo 400 will be taking all the punishment the motor is going to put at it..and Paul Efantis at MSP will be setting up the rear for us. Ara Arslanian will make the shake down runs and get her dialed in for us. It will surely be a awsome project! We are so excited! Stay tuned...

And the engine compartment painted...it was a custom mix, we used house of color Kandy Brandywine...the cage will be painted the same color and it will be sent back to Steve Larkin of Larkin's Service Center(609.882.9890) for re-assembly of the interior and we will put the motor back in. Then prep it for paint!

Sure Rodger...the Vette is getting painted too...and a motor is coming together for that as well. You would have fun cruising it, the vette should make about 450. I have a Mustang you would probably have fun cruising as well. It has alot of cam in it!lol

i can figure out what this is ? is this the parachute bar going to the chassis ?

That is the A-pillar tube welded to the factory dash bar not a parachute anchor!

Dave, nice project! Hope you are going to drive it when it is all done.

I just wish Ken would have put some gussets in there as well a dedicated dash bar and maybe an X in the back. Either way looks nice

Thanks Carl...I told Ken I wanted the back seat or the X would be there. I kind of regret it now, but it's done...I will be driving it, the car will be seeing some street action in philly for sure as well.

Not sure what class FABMAN...the car won't be to fast so not sure I want to race it like that..8.7-9.0's is the goal though.

Very true...but we have a budget and would like to see the car actually completed lol
25.5 is a whole nother budget bracket.

The Vette can get you into trouble real quick...the Stang is just plain fun to drive in a line as well as sideways..Jesus Christ wouldn't be allowed to drive my Buick. I have had her since I was 15..the only lady to stick around all these years.
