head question

I know that having a stock head bored and stroked drastically improves hp but what is better, an aftermarket head or a tuned stock head? Can an aftermarket head be tuned?

Get a book about engine basics and read up-you need to learn basic engine terminology before you can ask a coherent question or understand the answer.
