Re: Goal: Low 9's SFWD trim, what to buy next
Meanwhile 2yrs later.....
ive been missing my HT roots and thought I'd post some things up. The car has not seen much action in the past two seasons as I've moved to another state but the build is making some nice progress.
Since my last post-
purchased a Libertys box-
sold my Strange suspension and opted for the cheaper Blox setup (less money and similar performance for where my build currently sits) I am cutting 1.63 60ft with very minimal power off the line....will eventually want the strange back on.
Purchased KS rear trailing arm kit-
Replaced my ghetto but trusty radiator with an FCS setup- thanks Jason.
Replaced my antique comp 72 journal with a Brand new BW SX400 super core.
Engine bay is currently getting a little make over- thanks Holland's Performance; custom breather box, new charge piping/clamps, tubular front end, custom belly pan.
Parachute mount and chute purchased
New staging brake-
New side skirts - thanks max @ wicked fab.
Still currently on Hondata V2 running E85R a Sunoco fuel.
Next upgrade will be ECU....Haltech seems to be the right price range for what I can afford/am willing to invest.

thank you good sir.
Well, was having some voltage issues with the Dampener underdriving my alternator (even tried out the big output alts) so I switched to the 16v system and ditched the alternator. Car lights up like a damn Christmas tree now. lol everything just feels healthier.

Had the car scaled for the first time- 2343lbs without me in it. Time for some ballast I think. Also looking to get more weight up front and less in back....so I'll be raising the rest end.
Pacific raceways for some TNT this weekend. Hoping for some good things.

raising the rear put more weight in the front, simple geometry and physics but there are other ways to do it as well but for my setup right now that's all I need to do.
