First off my opinion is DO NOT PURCHASE GATOR AXLES !!! I have already broken three different sets. Now i am out of my original 500.00 dollars and have no axles. Im bout to get Driveshft Shop Axles which I should have got in the first place. By the way the axles were rated to handle 475 whp and I only had bout 215 whp when they all broke. Im runnin 22.0/8.00 MT Drag slicks , where I have no wheel hop at all. The metals the axles are made of are JUNK!!!

lol
really funy how everyone bashes and punds on gators but ive never had one problem with mine neither can cortney!!!! we run them in stock size hubs cort has gone 9.66 i went 9.72 and we never never had one problem ohh well kinda wierd huh. so if he is using stock stuff dayum man we are either good drivers or the stock honda stuff that is painted is magical. lol
but DSS is proven and works i would use it if i changed hubs for sure. also RCV makes most of the stuff for DSS and they make there own also. I hear RCV is the main manufacture for alot of stock and Performance axles they also do ATV axles aswell. there a huge Axle manufacture.

DSS axles now don't require a hub change. Sure, you and Courtney may have gone fast but think of the ratio of snapped axles from Gator to DSS. The success rate of DSS is much greater than Gator.

i think driving styles vary but how can you dispute someone who has gone from 5 broken gators and swapped to DSS and ran flawless for the last 2 seasons? as i always say those POS gators never made it 10 passes EVER.
court knows how i feel he always calls me out. so this isnt necessarily directed at court. BTW hows everything coming along for this 07 season court?

I think it should be brought up that you guys were also lucky enough to get gators 300m shafts. I heard from Glenn gator himself that they can no longer get 300m shafts.

i almost bought gator axels, but didnt like all the questions they wanted to know about my setup. they just need to know about my power goals & drivetrain & tires in my eyes.

bought the DSS 5.9 for the win & they are some perty *** pieces. hated putting them in the car, THIER SO SHINNY!!!

For those that don't know GATOR AXELS only makes 3 stages:

Stage 1 : Axels that you would use in a swap or stock set up

Stage 2: They would be use in a car with 300-400whp

Stage 3 / HP: (Are the ones that I'm using on my cars) This would be use on a car with 600+whp & they are not painted green...

It's funny I know Glen personaly & they've been doing racing axels for 7 years. I was there the yesterday & saw the new stuff that they have coming out... It will definatley be leaving the competition behind!!!!

Hope this can help

I'm just gonna say it. If your height and alignment is right. Both gators and dss's are fine. There both awesome products. Both can break, both can last. End of story. Damn this has gone way too far.

So what about them is going to make them leave the competition behind? I find it hard to believe that ANYTHING is going to leave the DSS 5.9's behind...

We has 2 sets of Gators in a All Motor racecar and broke both. Finally Glenn gave us the Stage 3's and we never had a problem. The car wasn't even making 300whp

I broke one of my inner joints so I called glen to see what could be done. He sold me a replacement joint "supposed to be a new big bad *** joint" for like $35 which I thought was crazy cheap for a stronger after market part. When the joint arived at my house it showed upin a box from a company that builds factory replacement parts. Weird huh! Right then I knew something was up. After many heated conversations on the phone with glen I got pissed off an did what i should have done in the first place ORDERED DSS. Now 1 year later my axles are still in great working order. This in a crx making 740whp and running m and h 25x8.7s with a tilton twin disk clutch. I also leave with about 10 lbs of boost. DSS>Gator end of story!!!!!!!
