do yourself a favor and order full-race's sump. Its cheap enough and you only have to do it once...

Make one yourself and save the money...a peice of 3 or 4 inch exhaust piping cut on an angle and weld on a bung works mint....

I would probably just spend the money on a nice pre-made one. Yours probably works, but I really don't like how it looks.

I mean we aren't talking big money here....haha

Im just wondering if anyone has any actual real functionality issues with how I did mine. Besides that it may not look as pretty as a full-race sump. Not hating, just interested in hearing what people have to say

I just don't like the way it looks, I don't have any experience with them to have an educated comment on functionality. I've always just ran fuel cells.

what is so good about the competition sump? I had one, and it was too big and bulky. I ended up running a full-race sump. Makes life so much easier since it fits in between the grooves in the stock tank.

here is mine:

I have the Competition Engineering sump and it works fine. Only thing is, it sits a bit low. My car sits high on 26" rear tires all the time so it's fine for my car, but for others it might cause a problem. If I redid it, i'd deffinately go with a full race sump. It's nice, small and effective. Price is about the same as well.

its very obvious why someone would choost the comp. eng. sump.... it holds a signifigant amount of fuel more than the full race sump.
