The DW pump flows about 17% more than a comparable Walbro Pump...if you agree that a Walbro can make about 550-600 hp on its own, then a DW300 pump can make 640-700 but of course you will be at about the MAX the pump can make which is really never a great place to be.

Re: fuel pump

what about the 340lph aeromotive it should make 650 easily next year im going fuel cell and a new motor

Re: fuel pump

What kind of fuel are you looking to use? I don't see 650hp on gasoline being an issue. E85 would be stretching it on either pump.

Re: fuel pump

pretty sure i will be running 116

Well, havent seen good data on this one yet...but yeah, it SHOULD give you more if it delivers what it says it will.

340/255 - 1.33 or 33% more or around 730 hp give or take.

Will 2 intank DW300 Pumps Make 700whp whit E85?

Deatschwerks Feb 10, 2011 09:41 AM

Re: fuel pump

Yes, 2 DW300 pumps should be able to support 700whp on E85.

Re: fuel pump

Well i am having trouble getting the 340 intank and also was told it may not support my power so im going to do the old trusty walbro intank which i already have installed and a bosch near the rail but jays racing has pumps they say outflow the bosch inline im looking for some insight?

Re: fuel pump

Why not do a intank 255 and inline 044?

slowboy90 Feb 15, 2011 11:17 AM

Re: fuel pump

thats currently what im thinking about doing i have a 255 intank

Deatschwerks Feb 15, 2011 11:24 AM

Re: fuel pump

You should be able to support that much power on gas.

What issues are you having with the install?

Re: fuel pump

well i will be running 1600's im going to be running 25 psi of boost

Deatschwerks Feb 15, 2011 12:13 PM

Re: fuel pump

You'll need ~260LPH of fuel to support your hp goal. ...and with the size of your injectors, you can afford to run a lower baseline fuel pressure. With your baseline around 40psi and 25psi boost, you should be hovering around the 65psi fuel pressure range at full bore. Our pump should be able to handle that. I'd imagine the 340 should be okay, too.

I'd just hate to see you scrap what you have when what you have should handle the job.

Re: fuel pump

wel;l thats why im asking if a walbro and a bosch will do ill keep the walbro and upgrade next year

slowboy90 Feb 15, 2011 01:05 PM

Re: fuel pump
