Ef twin disc question
I have a Crx with a b series, a clutch master twin disc(HD pressure plate) and a hush performance hydrolic conversion. my question is does anyone have a similar set up and what is your pedal feel and travel like? my pedal is extremely stiff and engages very early. curious if this is something other people are experiencing. the pedal only travels like and inch or two and is stiff enough to make the brake master move.

Re: Ef twin disc question
the hush kit needs to be reinforced, the twins are to heavy for them... as far as engagement point you either need to adjust the cable and/or install a pedal stop.

Re: Ef twin disc question
Thank you, I had planned on reinforcing the kit as well as creating a pedal stop not dependent on the pedal assembly (to try and eliminate additional flex.) I am just curious if other EF owners with a hydrolic conversion and a twin disc have the same results.

Re: Ef twin disc question
I have a dual disc in my EF hatch. Converted it over to hydraulic clutch with some backyard engineering. I have it braced up pretty well right now and even still the pedal assembly has some flex to it. I assumed that it would and had planned on bracing it a little more as well as adding a pedal stop.
I plan on bracing it to that bar that runs under the dash and around your legs. The one that is normally rusty when you pull all that junk apart. That should do the trick as far as reinforcing it. |
Re: Ef twin disc question
I have a comp twin in my EF hatch but I'm still on a cable tranny. clutch is softer then when I had the stage 5 in there. pedal only needs to move about 2 inches I did make a pedal stop.

Disable it. You'll find it in the User CP within "Edit Options." Shouldn't happen again. |
