I will be running a Dual Bosch 044 Parrallel fuel System but am still confused on how to run it.

My goal is to enough pressure/flow to run the new bosch 1000cc injectors and still be able to flow 700- 730whp out of them.


My 2 different options.

FUEL SUMP with a (1) -10AN >>>> -10AN 100Micron fuel filter >>>> Y distrubiton block from -10AN to (2) -8AN >>>> 2 seperate -8AN Bosch 044 Pumps. >>>> Y distribution block from (2) -8AN to a (1) -10AN >>>> (1) -10AN 10 Micron Fuel Filter >>>> -10AN fitting on the Fuel Rail.

OR

FUEL SUMP with (2) -8AN >>>> (2) -8AN 100 Micron Fuel Filters >>>> (2) -8AN 044 Bosch Fuel Pumps >>>>> Y dsitribution block from (2) -8AN to (1) -10AN >>>>> (1) -10AN 10 Micron Fuel Filter >>>>-10AN fitting on the Fuel Rail.

Which one is better??? i Know they'll both work, but which suits my needs?

There's really no benefit in one over the other. One way takes another filter, one way takes a Y block. Go with which ever is easier because they'll both work fine.

I'll be putting in my order those Injectors next week as well.

looks good i would go all -10 but loose the bosch fuel pumps and go with MSD 2225 its a lot better bang for your buck also you never said anything about a fuel pressure regulator you need a good one with 1:1 boost refernce like the Aeromotive 13109 good luck

Anyone have any pics of this type fuel system done?

this picture shows the filter in the car, but it didn't work that way so we moved it to under the car.
the way our is done is -10an from the fuel cell to the filter a BG y block screwed right to the filter 2 -8an lines go to the pumps and 2 -8an lines from the pumps going to another Y block and a -8an line going to the fuel rail.

With that Y fitting how do you know if equal fuel is going in and out or does it matter?

i made the lines the same length and both pumps are on at the same time so they should be pulling the same amount.

I am running a -8 to -10 Y by the side of the tank up to the rail. These two pumps were good for around 850hp on Ethanol with four 160lb/hr injectors at 48psi fuel pressure.

Could it be cheaper to buy one good fuel pump than do this fuel system?Seems you have to buy twice the stuff.

There are no other pumps that can handle 100+psi without falling on its face. Its not all about 50psi high flow systems with POS 15-20 year old injectors anymore.

Not to mention the reliability of the Bosch pumps. I've yet to see any aftermarket stuff compare in that aspect.

Just finished my setup. Dual -8s coming from sump to each of the Bosch pumps, then -8 line from pumps Y'd into -10 to the engine.

Actually Cort, the Weldon 2015 does pretty damn well, but will set you back about $600ish for just the pump!

my 2015 started working about 50% in the middle of a pass. 40lbs of boost, 3rd gear, and about a 16.5 AFR left my radiator looking like a taco. still have that pump sitting in a box around here somewhere. switched to an aeromotive pro series pump and that has worked well for me. i still dont think it would work at high pressures like the dual bosch set up though.

Was it the pump's fault though?

I've got a pro series pump too and I know for a fact it doesn't like a base of 100psi.

I was going to switch to the Weldon, but after hearing your comment I may have to rethink that....

Wanna give that Weldon pump away?

I ran the pro series pumps and had great luck with it. They didnt give me any issues at all. I ran a 50lbs base and all was cool.

The pro series pump is done at 90psi. Not exactly ideal for anyone looking to run 50lbs of boost.

i'll have to check my base, i think its 45.


i dont see how its not the pumps fault? it worked for a long time, quit working, blew **** up, i replaced it with a new pump and now everything is fine. yes i have filters.

i'll sell the pump cheap if you want it, its not a ton of money to have it repaired.
