How is it beneficial to put a 9.5" wide tire on an 11" rim?

It'll stretch the tire. More contact patch and less cupping at high mph. Very beneficial for light rwd cars

Most of us dont have light rwd cars lol. Anyone have any solid data that the wider wheel makes an improvement on our cars? Makes sense on paper

same concept, i was just saying its very common on light rwd cars. the way the front of these cars wants to lift, that lets the tire start to cup and leads to spinning on the second half of the track

You guys doing alright down there Danny? I know a tornado came right by the SPEC Building-- you guys come out unscathed? Your house ok? We've been trying to get hold of our distributor that is right next door to you guys, and just got through. They said they're ok, but didn't hear about your building.

Yeah, we barely missed it. There were a couple of tornados that were only a few miles from my house. There are three or four people that didn't make it to work today. They have a good bit of damage, but everyone is ok. Thanks for the thoughts, it was pretty scary last night.

Every time I give an ETA, I'm wrong, so I'll quit lying. I have no idea. Hopefully by spring.

Yes, jail does suck. LOL. After seeing the engine bay in person, it is gonna be worth it! And no, we won't be at the Fall nats. I wish we were. It's not my call.

It's actually the same color as before with everything shaved. The color looks way better this time though. Thanks!
