Re: Drag racing event at Sacramento Raceway April 7th
This event features 6 diffrent classes for competition and a test and tune class if you just want to see what your car can do. Here are the class rules
Outlaw Street by Synergy Autoworks
This is a bracket class for all motor cars where you pick your dial in time ( how fast you think your car will go ) meaning that if you think your car will run a 14.0 second 1/4 mile and your opponent had a 13.0 dial in, you would get a 1 second head start. It's great for racers on a budget.
ATP Turbo bracket
This class is almost the same as Outlaw Street except this is for cars that are turbocharged, supercharged, or equipped with nitrous. Same rules apply to dial in time, this class is also great for the turbo cars on a budget
Street Power sponsored by NORCAL AUTOSTYLZ
We have some significant changes to this class for Spring Jam. This class will still be a heads up class for all motor cars, but it will be for cars running between 13.9 and 11.9. All the other rules remain the same.
Pro Street by N1 Concepts
This is what we all know as the old Street Power class. This is a heads up class for all motor cars running faster than 11.9. All the other rules remain the same
ATP Trubo Heads Up
This is the class for the big boys. This class is heads up just like Street Power except this class if for cars that are turbocharged, supercharged, or equipped with nitrous. No plexiglass, 1 piece front ends, or wheelie bars allowed.
RWD by DNR performance / Darkside Racing
This class is for all the rear wheel drive cars. This open to all cars import and domestic. Or even the imports with domestic engines. This will be a bracket class similar to Outlaw Street, the only diffrence will be that it is for RWD cars.
If you have any questions about classes, the facility, or if this might be your first time to the track and you have no idea what to do or how it works please feel free to message me or ask a question here on the forum.

Put me in for ATP turbo Heads up
For sure this time I'll be in. Last event I couldn't get my clutch in time. I went street racing on the friday before and burned my clutch. Ordered ACT extreme 4 puck unsprung. Car feels alot more powerful.
Looking forward to meet all you guys out there

Synergy Auto Works
Myself, mike-ATP turbo heads up
Derek-ATP turbo bracket
David- ATP turbo bracket
Joey- n1 street performance
Donald-ATP turbo bracket
Should be a great event. Hope to see everyone there. I talked to Lightspeed Chris and we are gonna have an additional pot for all the turbo HONDA guys racing the event. This is gonna be like a gamblers pot. Turbo heads up class pays out 1000 to 1st place.

Re: Drag racing event at Sacramento Raceway April 7th
These events were scheduled in December I believe. CMI has been a small event held at Sacramento Raceway for almost 20 years now. They put on about 4-5 races a year and has been a really cool thing that we had up here when we really didn't have any other events coming this way. This year a few people have been putting a bit of energy into it and expanded the classes, payouts, and added a car show to the event. If the events keep getting bigger I'm sure they will try to schedue next years events so that they don't conflict with IFO or any other regional event. We will be having 2 more events this year, keep an eye out.
