Re: Couple of questions for those running 9's
For some reason, completely destroying the limiter in 1st and 2nd are the only thing that gets me good 60's and 330's??? Any ideas?

Re: Couple of questions for those running 9's
I just read this whole thread and the questions that keep being avoided is what psi is everyone setting up their pwm in 1st gear at? Is this like a secret nobody wants to share? Well as soon as I hit 9's or 10's or 11's, or 17's I'll share the secret. Trying to get to the track this weekend, praying for good weather!

Seriously. There are no secrets about boost in first. It depends on YOUR car not just boost. So play with it and see what the car likes. We run 18 psi and it spins but we're happy with 1.50 60's and the car seems to like it

^^ Thats what you call a contradiction lol. There is no definitive answer and no set HP. I have seen transmissions gernade at 350hp, others are making enough power to go 9s on stock trans.

That's why I'm asking, "In General". Sure, a transmission can grenade at 350hp or even hold at 800hp. But what's the "General" limit.

humble performance ran 10.2 @ 139 this weekend in an un cut eg with onlu 503whp on an ebay turbo kit. track prep was crap also. i bet that car could see 9.99 on the same setup and a good 60.

I went 8.8s on a stock trams with a cuff, like 850whp, but I killed a synchro or something every event. And I was full clutch, full lift every shift

518whp 408tq 1.7 60' 11.0 @ 132mph was my best so far. I am cursed for 10's no matter what I do. Can't get em for the life of me. Got skunk2 pro's with a traction bar and 24.5 slicks

If this is your first time out with the car, I wouldn't be too concerned about it as you will only improve with practice. Your friend will find it's a totally different thing to drive a car that traps under 110 mph to one that traps over 120 mph. Make sure you get more practice, get the car going low 11's, remove all of your launch settings that you've worked hard to attain, and then ask him to sit in it and take it for a trip down the track since he's a professional. Watch him run 12.5 the first time out.

^^ Haha I like your style! I am actually going back out tomorrow on new power levels to see i I cant bury it in the 10s finally.
24psi
c16
24.5x9 MT's
Gonna play with BBG and 2step settings just to get the short track dialed in. Next week or week after we're adding 5-8 more psi and some more timing to help get it going even faster. Time to see if I can get it faster then the previous best of 11.2@129
