I just got my first set of slicks and one is 72" and the other is 72 5/8 is that too much of a diffrence? ALso ive read that you can blow the smaller one up, let it stand for a bit and recheck the roll out. That it may stretch it?

It doesnt state how long to really inflate it to try and stretch it. Wondering if any of you guys have real world experience and if this is within the "stretching limit"?

Just try it.... There's no textbook....it will be different with every tire

Use a piece of string.....not a tape measure...also putting the tire in the sun while its inflated helps a little

I never feel comfortable putting over 25psi in mine. 30 would probably be fine.

Well I messured myself instead of going off of what was on the tires and I got 72 even and 72 3/16. I aired the small one up to right at 30 psi let it sit in the sun for about 30-35 mins. let her down and re messured and it was dead one by the eye laser so it did work!!!

I guess I got lucky on perfect timing and PSI in the tire. Good luck to others who may have to do this and hope this helps someone in the future.
