clutch question, ACT Verses LSD
I have a ACT 6 puck extreme and its been great for 15k miles and countless passes, last night i went to do a 3rd gear burn out and the slicks must not have been wet all the way around and it kinda bit, i felt it right away and pushed the clutch back in, but now it slips tiny fraction off the line, i can feel it when i launch. im getting ready to swap trannys and wonder if i ruined it or if its just got a smooth spot now and i can use a roloc disk to freshen up the flywheel and PP , or should i order a new clutch kit, if so does any one know if LSD motor sport clutches are as good as ACT? they claim to be as good, offer a warranty and are cheaper. i love my ACT but its just so expensive to replace.
