It was a fun event. Chickenheads everywhere. As for the car, hopefully I will run better at etown. Met some nice people. Congrats to Jason and thanks again for helping me out.

I'm pretty sure you're refering to the Midalantic Motorsport's car. It didn't run quite that fast, it was going mid 12's the majority of the day. Unfortunately, he was only runner up(Couldn't get that bastard in third! )but either way, it would've been a close *** race!

Re: (AllMotorDC2)
It was a good day. Excellent turnout and a hell of a lot of bikes Big props to Lee and his 12.4 pass in the Integra
Yeah, it's true, I think I have had enough of the import scene and I plan to get a bike instead. Something different, although I've heard it's even more addictive than cars.
I also plan to sell the Integra or possibly part it out if anyone is interested.
For more info give me a call. J&D Motorsports (301)499-1330

as far as drag racing goes, bikes in the dc area are very competative. the competition is the best in the world. the 60" class running low 8's and the stock classes running sick numbers. they run 9's on stock 600's. thats retarded. bikes are fun, but you might end up being more frustrated with them in the long run.

But we all know how that goes
Actually, I am looking at getting either an R6(like everyone else )or a ZX6RR

Re: (J&D Motorsports)
You dont want no 600cc bike......they get real old in about 3 months. Get a 00 and up gsxr 750........you will be more happy with that bike for along time.....runs low 10's out the door was sportbike of the year for 2002 also......unless you are getting into stunt riding....if you are getting into stunt riding then get the HONDA 954 RR, that bike has the best balance point I have seen....but if you want the all around best bike then a gsxr750 is for you

Re: (10seconds)
I got runner up in Hybrid 4 in the White EF9 Allmotor Nonvtec. It ran the best of a 12.61@ 106. I tried a bigger set of slick but it broke when i used the 2 step so i just came out easy with it every pass. I missed 3rd in the finals but maybe better luke next time... - Ricky

for the track(1/4), get the kawasaki. KT and norman both ran 9's.....stock.
i wouldn't get the r6 unless your looking for road racing. seriously underpowered for its class. maybe a gsxr750 for cruising. you'll have alot more fun your first season out on a 600.
