Anyone store fuel (E85 specifically) at home/shop?
Hey guys.
I have decided that I want to make the change over to E85. I have been wanting to do this forever, but because there are limited gas stations around here I have held off. Now that I don't drive the car much, I figure I might as well just go ahead and do it. However, I want to bring the fuel home to the car and have a "reserve" here so I don't have to drive the car 40+ miles just to refuel.
I was kind of looking for good ideas to bounce around from. I was thinking maybe getting 4 5gallon fuel jugs and just filling them up when I needed to? Not really sure if there's a better way or anyone knows of a good product that's not super expensive that would be good for this.
Needs to be transportable and good for short term storage. Thanks.

as long as its in a metal container that is sealed, you will be fine. we have had drums of c16 for up to 16 months with no problem

I would assume E85 is somewhere in the 85% EtOH range
*edit* 70-83% EtOH by volume
